Yttrium oxide transparent ceramic material supplied by Stanford Materials Corporation (SMC) is suitable for infrared, laser and visible light window materials under high temperature, high pressure and dust storm environment.
Yttrium oxide transparent ceramic has a transmittance high than 80% without coating. Yttrium oxide, also known as yttria, is Y2O3. It is an air-stable, white solid substance. Transparent ceramic refers to a polycrystalline material with a certain light transmittance prepared by the ceramic process, also known as optical ceramic. Compared with glass or resin optical materials, transparent ceramics are stronger, harder, more resistant to corrosion, and more resistant to high temperatures. They can be used in extremely harsh conditions.
