Yttrium Oxide is used to produce Yttrium-Iron-Garnets. Stanford Materials Corporation (SMC) has 20 years of experience manufacturing and distributing Yttrium Oxide (Y2O3). Our Yttrium oxide can be up to 99.9999% purity.
Yttrium oxide, also called Yttrium (III) oxide and Yttria, is a white solid substance that is stable in air. High-purity Yttrium Oxides are the most important materials for tri-band Rare Earth phosphors which give the red color in color television & computer tubes. In the optical industry, Yttrium Oxide is used to produce Yttrium-Iron-Garnets, which are very effective microwave filters. Low purity of Yttrium Oxide is widely applied in electronic ceramics. It is widely used to make Eu:YVO4 and Eu:Y2O3 phosphors that give the red color in color TV picture tubes. Yttrium Oxide is also used to make Yttrium-Iron-Garnets, which are very effective microwave filters.
Yttrium Oxide Application
-Yttrium oxide is used to make yttrium iron garnets and to make the high-temperature superconductor YBa2Cu3O7. -Yttrium oxide is an important material for inorganic compounds. -In addition, Y2O3 is also applied in the laser industry.
