Terbium carbonate, also known as Terbium (III) Carbonate Hydrate, is one of the terbium compounds. It is insoluble in water and stable at room temperature. The typical purity limit of our Tb2(CO3)3 is TREO>42%.
Application of Terbium:
Terbium is widely used as a dopant in calcium fluoride, calcium tungstate and strontium molybdate. Also, terbium, as a component of Terfenol-D, is used in actuators, naval sonar systems, sensors and other devices.
