Indium Sputtering Target Applications
The indium sputtering target is used to coat the bearings of high-speed motors since it allows for the even distribution of lubricating oil. Indium targets are also used for thin film deposition, decoration, semiconductor, display, LED and photovoltaic devices, functional coating as nicely as other optical information storage space industry, glass coating industry like car glass and architectural glass, optical communication, etc.
Indium is also used to make other electrical components such as rectifiers, thermistors and photoconductors. Indium can be used to make mirrors that are as reflective as silver mirrors but do not tarnish as quickly. Indium is also used to make low-melting alloys. An alloy of 24% indium and 76% gallium is a liquid at room temperature.
Packaging
Our indium sputter targets are carefully handled to prevent damage during storage and transportation and to preserve the quality of our products in their original condition.
