Stanford Materials Corporation (SMC) provides high-purity cerium dihydride (CeH2-3) or cerium (II) Hydride at a competitive price. Other cerium products are also available.
Cerium dihydride (CeH2-3), or cerium (II) hydride, is a black-blue crystal of the CaF2-type structure. It can be formed at a moderate temperature (523 K) and atmospheric pressure using a pulse-flow technique. Cerium dihydride tends to fire in moist air, which also reacts with water at 0°С.
